haunting notes
Come August, I'm now returned to San Diego, and back to the kitty I barely know. We are a bit more awkward around eachother, after such a long absence, yet I look forward to re-bonding. He's certainly happy to have me back, someone to dote on him and act enthousiastic at every meeting. Perhaps Hurc has been waiting with bated breath for his mummy's return.
I must say, it is extremely nice to have a cat around, he's adorable and affectionate more than I could have imagined. Last night I caught him pushing his nose into my ribs. At the time I was so deeply in sleep that all I remember is thinking, "Hurc?? Whasss tha ur doooin..." *snore* So for all I know it could have been a dream, but I'm pretty sure that he and I were curled up and he was just cuddling in further. Bless his wittle feline heart.
He's no Lexi, but atleast he lands on his feet if he happens to roll off the bed. ;) no more heartattacks in that department for a while. But I would like to have a picture of Lexi and Hurc together: the two void fillers chillin out. Hurc is declawed, and hasn't bitten me ever like Cat used to, so I think they could be sat together for a moment or two, speaking hypothetically since Miami and San Diego are quite the distance apart.
