you underestimate my sneakiness
I just had one of those "whoa!" moments with Hurcules. As you probably know, he isn't allowed in the house during the day because of a certain Ernie mcBernie Boo. Well, just a few minutes ago I was finishing up somethings on the computer, and I turned around to see Hurcules walking casually by me, as if he hadn't a care in the cotton-pickin world. I nearly screamed. It's a very unexpected sight.
Luckilly for Hurcules, Ernie was sleeping on the couch and is deaf and blind.
So I scooped up the poor wittle kitty and depositied him into my room with only one or two revealing meows to warn Ernie of what was going on. No such luck for Stinky doggie, he hadn't even moved from the couch when I returned. Silly puppy. Lucky Kitty. I need to put a bell on that cat, he's got sneaky ways. Or I need to start keeping doors shut, either way I don't want the two coming into contact anymore than Ernie tries for.
That leads me to a cute story:
Ernie has allways got his nose at my door, trying to sniff out the cat whether he's in there or not. Sometimes Hurc get's fed up with this invasion of his personal space (he only gets one bloody room while the dog gets the freakin whole house. Unfair much? Ernie's not even happy with that. Geez.) Anyway, Hurc, seeing a little black bulb of a doggy nose under the door, saunters over and swats an unclawed paw at it. Unclawed, yet still enough to send Ernie barking and yipping. It's Hurc's revenge.
